When you're on your period it can feel like its never going to end and you just want to lay down with a cozy blanket, a show or book and a heating pad. Well lucky for you there is teas that you can use to either help with cramps or with PMS.
The first tea is peppermint tea. It is known for its muscle relaxation properties and really helps with a nice aroma that helps refresh your mental state.
Another tea that really helps with period cramps and PMS in general is Raspberry leaf tea. I can sometime be referred to as women's herb. It has fragarine this really help with the uterine activation and the pelvic floor muscles.
The third and last tea is Ginger tea. It has anti-inflammatory properties that really help with your cramps and everything thats happening down there. It is also a really big pain reliever it almost has the same amount as the common NSAID like ibuprofen.
An honorable mention for this post that can also help with cramps and PMS is our own Joyful garden. It contains Raspberry leafs and Lemon balm to help with pelvic floor muscles and has antioxidants to help with oxidative stress and reduce inflammation.
Hopefully this list helps so that the next time you are having an extra tough period you can have a little comfort when you can make a warm cup of tea.
